To assist you in the completion of updating your ArcGIS toolbar interface you will need to know the database name and details for your server. This is to be completed locally on the end-users computer.
IN THIS EXAMPLE:
You will be given step by step instructions to install/upgrade your ArcGIS Interface
Open ArcGIS platform, navigate to Customize>Add-in manager
As this is an update for your AssetFinda Toolbar you will need delete the old one first. Just ensure that you have the correct one selected (it will be the one highlighted blue) then click on Delete this Add-in then click on Close.
You will now need to download the latest Interface for Arc.
You will now see on the bottom left-hand corner of your screen, a file has been downloaded onto your computer. Click on the down arrow next to it then click on Show in folder. This will open the File Explorer where the folder is located.
Navigate to C:\arc_assetfinda (or similar) then paste the files. You can either right-click and click on Paste or you can use the CTRL + V functionality. As this is an update you will be asked if you want to Replace or Skip Files (this is because one already exists) When prompted choose to Replace the file in the destination
Double-click on the AssetFinda_ArcGIS Esri AddIn file to install this latest version you have copied over.
The Esri ArcGIS Add-In Installation Utility box will appear, click on Install Add-In.
Once complete an Esri ArcGIS Add-In Installation Utility notification will appear with an "Installation succeeded." message. Then click OK
